Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, lunch and snacks, extra warm clothing, sunglasses, gaiters and hiking poles. They may also want to bring ice cleats (grippers) in case the trail is icy. Meet at the city hall parking lot 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 8 a.m. Carpool fee is $2.
