Giving back to the community is a key pillar of our business at KelownaNow and supporting local initiatives is just one way we chose to do so. That is why we jumped at the opportunity to be the presenting sponsor for the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise Season of Giving Calendar.
Fashioned after Christmas advent calendars, with daily doors from December 1 to December 24 there are multiple daily opportunities to win over 262 prizes valued at more than $62,000.
But it gets better! Calendars are only $20 with each and every cent raised donated to local charities. There are 6,000 calendars available for purchase with a fundraising goal of $120,000. This year the major beneficiaries are the Child Advocacy Center and the Neonatal ICU at Kelowna General Hospital through the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
The winning ticket numbers will be announced in multiple locations online: at KelownaNow.com, the Season of Giving Calendar website as well as published weekly in the Capital News.
You can purchase your calendars at all Save-On-Foods in Kelowna: Mission Store on Lakeshore, Orchard Plaza, Glenmore, Rutland, as well as West Kelowna and Lake Country stores. Additionally, they are available at the Kelowna General Hospital Gift Shop, just inside the main lobby of KGH.
