1. 'Distinct' films to be made about each Beatles member

Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes is set to make four separate films about the lives of each member of the Beatles. The movies are slated for release in 2027.

2. Man dies after being bitten by Gila monster

A 34-year-old man has died in Colorado after being bitten by a Gila monster. The venomous reptile was being kept by the victim as a pet, authorities said.

5. Woman accused of stalking Harry Styles, sending 8,000 cards to his address

A Brazilian woman has been accused of stalking after allegedly sending pop singer Harry Styles 8,000 cards in less than a month. Myra Carvalho, 35, sent the missives to the Englishman while staying at a backpacking hostel in London.
