1. Neil Young demands Spotify dump Joe Rogan

Canadian folk music star Neil Young has demanded that streaming giant Spotify remove talkshow host Joe Rogan from its service. Young said Rogan, who is one of the most popular podcasters in the world, is "spreading fake information about vaccines."

2. Biden caught on camera insulting journalist with vulgarity

President Joe Biden has been criticized after he was caught on camera railing against a journalist. The beleaguered US leader referred to a reporter as a "stupid son of a bitch" after being asked about inflation in the country.

3. Flying car passes airworthiness test

A flying car has been granted a certificate of airworthiness in Slovakia. The AirCar, which has a BMW engine, is capable of flying at speeds of up to 160 km/hr.

4. UK police investigating senior government over COVID-19 parties

Police in London have launched an investigation into allegations that members of the UK government – including the prime minister – broke COVID-19 lockdown rules. The Metropolitan Police Service had been under pressure to probe claims that senior government figures partied while the public was forbidden from even visiting dying relatives.

5. French surgeon facing legal action after trying to sell X-ray as NFT

A French surgeon is facing legal action after trying to sell an X-ray of a woman shot in a terrorist attack. Emmanuel Masmejean's patient was wounded during the Bataclan Islamist terror attack, in which 130 people were murdered.
