A frantic search is underway on Lake Piru for a missing person who many will recognize. Naya Rivera, a star on the hit show Glee, went missing after a boat trip on the Southern California lake. The search began when authorities responded to a report of a child alone on a boat and found Rivera’s four-year-old son.

There’s no doubt that people are desperate for a COVID-19 vaccine. While it could potentially be ready in just a few months, the process of getting the vaccine out to millions, if not billions of people around the world will be another task. Bloomberg predicts that it won’t be an easy process and it could lead to plenty of fighting and issues.

Recently, Lady Antebellum announced that the trio would be changing its name to Lady A because the word “antebellum” has connections to slavery. Unfortunately for them, blues singer Anita White has been performing as Lady A for two decades and wants $10 million for the name. The country band has now filed a lawsuit claiming the name Lady A has been a band trademark for more than 10 years.

Sevnica, Slovenia is the hometown of American first lady Melania Trump. Surely, Trump’s hometown had a lot of pride in her journey, but it doesn’t seem to be there anymore. In the evening of July 4, US Independence Day, a wooden sculpture of the first lady near Sevnica, which was carved from the trunk of a tree by a local folk artist, was torched.

On Wednesday night, the MLS returned with the first game of its MLS is Back tournament. The game featured Orlando City and Inter Miami FC at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. A hard-fought game was tied late, but a stoppage time game-winning goal from Nani lifted Orlando City to a 2-1 win. The tournament continues with two more games today.
