Austrian Airlines says a plane that flew through a “thunderstorm cell” was badly damaged by hail. A mayday emergency call was made during the flight, but the jet with 173 passengers and six crew onboard landed safely in Vienna.

St. Anne’s Anglican Church, a national historic site in Toronto’s Little Portugal neighbourhood, was destroyed by a four-alarm fire on Sunday morning. Father Don Beyers called it “incredibly devastating” for both the congregation and community.

YouTube creator Alex Choi has been arrested and federally charged last week for a video he made last year. The video saw Choi orchestrate a stunt where two women in a helicopter repeatedly shot fireworks at a Lamborghini.
