1. Injuries reported after shooting at Maryland high school
There’s been another school shooting in the United States. This time it’s happened at Great Mills High School in St. Mary’s County, about two hours south of Baltimore. Local news outlets have reported three injuries, with one female victim and the shooter both in critical condition.

2. A couple got married at Walmart for all the right reasons
A couple got married at Walmart on Monday, but it wasn’t as crazy as it may sound on the surface. The Pennsylvania couple, who met and work at the store, got married at Walmart so their coworkers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get time off for the wedding could be in attendance.

3. A 5th explosion has occurred in Texas
Another explosion has happened in Texas, this time near a FeDex facility in Schertz, which is near San Antonio. The device detonated around 1 a.m. today and police are not yet sure if it’s connected to the four explosions that have already occurred in Austin this month. The package that exploded was believed to be bound for Austin.

4. Fifth Harmony announces hiatus to pursue solo projects
If you’re a fan of Fifth Harmony, you probably saw this coming. Much like One Direction did a couple of years ago, Fifth Harmony has announced a hiatus so that the group’s various members can pursue solo careers. The group already lost Camila Cabello, who left to pursue her own solo career, in December 2016.

5. Stranger Things stars will get a huge pay increase for season 3
Netflix is rewarding actors in one of its biggest shows with big pay raises. Stars of the hit series Stranger Things will see huge pay increases for season 3, with the main actors set to earn between $150,000 and $350,000 per episode. For some of the younger actors, that total is more than 10 times their original salaries.
