1. Man arrested outside Drake's mansion day after security guard shot

A man has been arrested after attempting to enter Drake's Toronto mansion, just a day after the rapper's security guard was shot. Police said they apprehended the man under the Mental Health Act.

Toronto police said a man was arrested under Canada's Mental Health Act after he attempted to enter Drake's mansion on Wednesday, according to Toronto CityNews.

3. Apple under fire over instrument-crushing iPad ad

Apple has come under fire from celebrities including Hugh Grant after releasing an advertisement in which musical instruments and books are squashed. The ad is supposed to show that the firm's iPad has many different features, but critics have branded it gratuitous.

4. Processed foods associated with early death

A new study has found that eating ultra-processed foods is associated with a risk of early death. But the Harvard University researchers responsible for the investigation also said that not all such foods are equal – with processed meats and sugary treats deemed the most risky.

5. Australian government defends gas extraction
