Whether the draft is held in Montreal or remotely this summer, Connor Zary is almost certainly going to hear his name called in the first round.
He’s one of three Kamloops Blazers listed in NHL Central Scouting’s final draft rankings for 2020, but by far the highest of the trio.

Zary is the 15th-ranked North American skater after a 38 goal, 86 point season that saw him also play in the Canada-Russia series and CHL Top Prospects Game.
Joining him on the North American skaters list is Josh Pillar, who slots in at 120th after an impressive 44 points in 63 games.
Finally, starting goaltender Dylan Garand is considered the sixth-ranked North American goaltender by NHL Central Scouting and could very well hear his name called at this year’s draft as well.
