The Canada Games torch will be in PG this weekend

In just a few short days, the Canada Games torch will be in PG!

As part of the MNP Canada Games Torch Relay, the iconic symbol began making its way across Canada on Oct. 4. Altogether, the torch will visit 50 communities across Canada with its final stop in Red Deer on Feb. 15, 2019.

To celebrate this monumental time in history, the community is invited down to the Prince George Civic Centre to take part in the torch arrival on Saturday.

The Torch Relay will take place at the Civic Centre at 11 a.m. and will work its way through downtown before heading back to the centre.

Shirley Bond, Todd Doherty, Alyson Gourley-Cramer, Mandi Graham, Lyn Hall, Justin Hampole, and Joel McKay are the lucky individuals who will carry the torch!
