One of Kamloops' hottest nightclubs will not be around for the rest of 2020.
Cactus Jacks, or CJs, announced that they would be "permanently" shutting down for 2020.
We have decided to permanently close CJ's with no plans of reopening in 2020. Thank you Kamloops for all of your support and patronage. ❤️

The announcement comes in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has made it so multiple nightclubs can't run at max capacity or until late in the night.
CJs actually reopened last month with strict social guidelines in place but had to close when Dr Bonnie Henry ordered the closure of all banquet halls and nightclubs.
At this point, the venue has not mentioned if and when they will reopen.
There has been no word yet on if The Commodore will be taking the same leap.
