The Kamloops RCMP is hoping the public can help identify the suspect of a theft investigation.
It happened around 4 pm on Tuesday at a store in the 1400 block of Hillside Drive.
According to police, a woman was shopping with her purse in a cart when she briefly stepped away from it.
That’s when another woman allegedly took the purse from the cart, left the store and got into a black quad-cab GMC Sierra pickup.
Surveillance footage from the store caught a woman leaving with two purses and that’s who the RCMP have identified as a suspect.
She’s described as a Caucasian woman with long blonde hair who was wearing a dark blue top, light blue spandex capris, pink or purple flip flops and sunglasses at the time.
