Kamloops zoo closing up Easter festivities on Monday

Kamloops’ BC Wildlife Park is bringing its “eggs-citing” Easter festivities to a close on Monday after three days of holiday activities thus far.

Children 12 and under were able to snatch up eggs at various times between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. –– and will be able to tomorrow as well.

Youth aged 13 to 17 can participate in a scavenger hunt, children from two-years-old to 12 can try their hand at a colouring contest and the whole family can get their faces painted.

Additionally, the everyone can hop on the Wildlife Express Mini Train, or attend the Home Hardware Family Farm –– early birds can also snack on a pancake breakfast for under $7!

And, of course, the zoo will feature some animal showings with badgers, bobcats, porcupines and being showcased to attendees. Even the cougars are getting in on the easter egg hunt!
