The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure took to Twitter today to tell residents something that should already seem obvious, don't shoot their webcams...
According to the ministry, someone took a shotgun to the BC Hwy 24 solar webcam at McDonald Summit, just west of Little Fort.
"Yeah, so, someone decided to take a shotgun to our #BCHwy24 solar webcam at McDonald Summit west of #LittleFort," wrote a tweet from the service. "(in case you're wondering what 'technical difficulties' means). Not cool. We install webcams to help travellers."

As of 1:55 p.m., the webcam is still down and there is no telling when it will be back up. All that is displayed on the camera is the words "Image Temporarily Unavailable."
NowMedia will update residents if any more information comes up about the incident.
