If you’re looking for Friday night plans, this night market might be the perfect way to start off the evening.
Friday night markets are returning to Meadow Vista Honey Winery for a second year.
The laid back, family friendly market is a great way to spend a summer evening in the Okanagan.
The markets take place on every other Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a variety of vendors, food trucks and live music, all on the five and a half acre farm, which is quaintly nestled amongst the orchards of East Kelowna.
Each week, a talented lineup of crafters and artisans will be in attendance, selling everything from art to clothing, jewelry, and specialty foods.
You’ll be able to browse the market and grab a bite to eat from the weekly food trucks, which include Dosa Crepe Café, Tasty Tacos & Taters, and Chick Chick Boom. You can then relax on the grass while enjoying tunes from local musicians Jesse Blashill, Jeff Piattelli, Syren + The Waves, and Bethany Petch.
And, if that’s not enough of a draw for you, there will of course be wine to sample. They’ll have five different honey wines (also known as mead) to sample that are made using BC ingredients like honey, apples, cherries, and blackberries.
There is no admission to get in, and there will be a market on July 12, July 26, August 9, and August 23. Meadow Vista Honey Wines is located at 3975 June Springs Rd.
