A new Kelowna brewery that quietly opened its doors at the end of July is now inviting beer lovers to come check out their new space.
The Office Brewery is one of four new Kelowna breweries that have either opened or are set to open along Clement Avenue this summer.
A passion project of Tracey and Dan Allen, former partners at Doc Willoughby’s Pub, and Bruce McKay, a well-known former school principal, there’s plenty to love at the new brewery.
McKay’s son Andrew is the head brewer and he’s been working hard to develop a number of recipes that cover a wide variety of beer styles.
“The Mumbo Jumbo Raspberry Sour and Water Cooler Gossip Westcoast Pale Ale are the early favourites among customers,” Andrew explained.
He told KelownaNow in July that his specialty would be hazy IPAs and pale ales, leaning towards more fruity, east coast profiles.
In the kitchen, Chef Chris has created a menu with plenty of enticing dishes like a housemade charcuterie board, baked mac ‘n’ cheese and the duo pork belly.
“The menu is slated to change often to showcase Chris’ culinary talent and we know you won’t be disappointed,” added Andrew.
When you do go check out The Office, you’ll be greeted by a colourful interior with 57 seats, while another 32 people can fit on the patio outside.
It’s located at 301-890 Clement Ave.
