It was a very scary day at the Euro Cup in Copenhagen as a player collapsed during the second game of the day.
According to the Union of European Football Associations, Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen lost consciousness and collapsed onto the field in the 42nd minute of the game.
First-aiders immediately responded to the player and began to do CPR. Eriksen's teammates created a wall around him to shield the action from the crowd.
Following the medical emergency involving Denmark's player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.

The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
The game would be suspended while Eriksen was transported to the hospital.
Thankfully, he is now in stable condition in hospital. He is also reportedly speaking to his parents.

A short time later the game resumed. Finland would go on to beat Denmark by a score of 1-0.
