A total of six swimmers from Kelowna represented their city as part of the Aquajet swim team in Moses Lake, Washington, from July 12 to 14.
The small pod of swimmers swam at the Sizzlin' Summer Swim Long Course meet hoping to claim medals, and they managed to scoop some up.
Of the 23 teams present, the Aquajets placed 11th overall with 32 best times.
Ethan Gray showed his talents across several races, claiming gold in the 400-metre individual medley (IM), silver in 200m fly and a bronze in both the 50m freestyle and 200m breaststroke competitions.
Sara Gray earned gold in the 50m breaststroke and silver in the 100m breaststroke.
Jordan Meyer picked up a silver in the 50m breaststroke, while Courtney Pequin won silver in the 100m fly and bronze in the 100m free and 200m fly.
Four swimmers nearly achieved 100% best times at the meet. Ethan Gray, Jordan Meyer, Sawyer Nabozniak and Noella Quadri were just shy of finishing with best times across their races.
The Aquajets will swim in their last meet of the season in Victoria on Aug. 3 and 4 with a team of 17 swimmers.
