Multi-million dollar expansion project planned for The Rise Golf Course

One of the Okanagan’s most scenic golf courses is about to get a whole lot better.

The Rise Golf Course in Vernon is finally getting a state of the art clubhouse and restaurant that will surely boost the experience for golfers.

Just like the golf course, the multi-million dollar project will boast panoramic views.

“We recognize that what we have up here at the top of the world should be enjoyed by more people, so we’re building an amazing experience for everyone—locals, visitors, and the whole community,” said Chad Scott, director of golf.

“It’s going to be inclusive, not exclusive. It’s a destination for everyone to enjoy—to look out across the valley, to take a breath and a break. Residents and vacationers will be able to soak in what we’ve got here.”

Along with the much-needed clubhouse, the 120-seat restaurant and bar will have 35-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and a multi-level patio overlooking Okanagan Lake.

General manager Ian Renton says the expansion, which has been in the works for some time, will put the golf course on every visitor’s bucket list.

“It’s really a spectacular piece of property up here at The Rise Golf Course. We have lots of ideas, but we’re first focused on making this incredible space available to everyone with this new restaurant and bar that will be an iconic piece of Vernon and the Okanagan,” said Renton.

“Golfers and non-golfers alike will enjoy casual dining in a really special place.” Scott adds that the space will make an unbeatable event venue.”

Not only will the new space be great for golfers and diners, but Scott said it’ll make an unbeatable event venue once complete.
