Things to do in Penticton: Easter edition

Easter long weekend is just around the corner, and with it comes a host of egg-citing activities and events for the whole family to enjoy!

From gardening workshops to egg hunts, markets and more, the South Okanagan is going to be hopping this weekend.

To make sure you don’t miss out on the fun, we put together a quick list of activities you can take part in:

What better way to prep for Easter dinner than by gathering the freshest local ingredients you can find. Bring the family and spend some time outdoors from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday.

Spring Flowers Gardening Workshop

Gather the little ones and head to 662 Braid Street to take part in a fun-filled afternoon of planting and crafting.

For $15 you and the family can create your own daffodil pots to house some spring flowers followed by an easter egg hunt! The workshop is open for children ages three to 12 and will run from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday.

Tickets are available online now.

Chute Lake first annual Easter Egg Hunt

Grab the crew this Sunday and head up to Chute Lake Lodge for some fun.

The best part however, will definitely be the Easter egg hunt that sprawls across six acres of grass and forest.

Penticton Collectables Show

Not necessarily Easter themed, but a great family-event comic book lovers won’t want to miss.

Featuring an easter egg hunt that runs throughout LocoLanding and the S.S. Sicamous, craft stations, a visit from the fire department and the Easter bunny himself — this event is a great way to usher in Spring and spend the last day of your long weekend.

The fun kicks off at 11 a.m., admission is $5 per child with all proceeds going on to support the OSNS Child & Youth Development Center.

Hoppy Easter, Everybunny!
