2 homes damaged after shed fire on McCullagh Avenue

Prince George fire crews responded to a number of outbuilding fires on McCullagh Avenue Monday afternoon.

Around 3:30, three fire trucks responded to the 1400-block of McCullagh Avenue and found two sheds and two fences on fire that involved two properties.

Fortunately, crews were able to attack the fire quickly and limited the fire to the sheds and fence lines.

However, the two homes suffered an estimated $20,000 in damages.

After an hour of fighting the fire, crews were able to extinguish it and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and will be under investigation.
