A third suspect was arrested last night in relation to a targeted shooting that occurred in the city on April 5th.
On Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., Prince George RCMP conducted a traffic stop of a pick-up truck near the corner of Victoria Street and Strathcona Avenue. Officers identified a disguised Kenneth Munroe as a passenger of the vehicle.
Munroe was arrested without incident on his outstanding warrant issued because of the shooting. He was transported to the detachment where he will be held until his court case this afternoon.
Police are still searching for 38-year-old Eric West, the last remaining suspect in the investigation. West is described as a First Nations man who stands at 5'11" and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair as well as brown eyes. Wet is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
"Eric has to be tired of looking over his shoulder," says Cpl. Craig Douglass. "He has to be tired of not knowing who to trust and where he should hide next. He should do the right thing and turn himself into police, because we will continue to actively search for him until he is arrested and taken to court."
Anyone with information on West is asked to contact 911 immediately.
