Prince George RCMP respond to robbery with a hatchet

Prince George RCMP is looking to the public for help in their investigation after responding to a robbery on Saturday.

According to police, at approximately 7:15 pm, officers received report of a robbery with a weapon at a business near 1st Avenue and Tabor Boulevard. When police arrived, they learned a lone man entered the building with a hatchet, demanded cash, and then fled the scene on foot.

All attempts to locate the man have been negative so far. He is described as having a slim build with brown eyes and was wearing a Billa-Bong hoodie, blue jeans, a black toque, and a scarf.

The employee involved in the incident cooperated with police and was not physically hurt.
