Vehicle incident in Red Rock closes Hwy 97 in both directions

The Prince George RCMP are advising motorists of a serious motor vehicle incident in Red Rock that has shut down traffic in both directions on Hwy 97.

There are two vehicles involved in the incident, however, no information on the condition of the occupants is available this time.

Officers of the PG RCMP and BC Highway Patrol are both on site with emergency services.

“Drivers should expect lengthy delays of several hours as police conduct their investigation. There is no current alternative route,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
