As regulations slowly start to get eased and lifted throughout the summer, BC Ferries continues to shift back towards a sense of normalcy.
The latest move from the transportation company is reopening more terminal and onboard amenities to enhance the passenger experience for those who are traveling.
Packaged food items and limited hot food services are now available on select smaller routes between Vancouver Island, Metro Vancouver, the Southern Gulf Island, Sunshine Coast and North Coast.
In addition, the Lands End building at the Swartz Bay terminal in Victoria is open once again.

BC Ferries continues to strictly adhere to provincial and federal health guidelines while it slowly reopens amenities.
That means supporting physical distancing in food areas, enhanced sanitization efforts and reducing the number of touch points.
Passengers traveling on routes longer than 30 minutes will need a face mask or covering in their possession to board the ship and will need to wear it if leaving their vehicle.
