The photos, taken by naturalist Sam Murphy, show an Orca whale and a deer swimming in close proximity in the ocean.

Island Adventures Whale Watching said that the two very different creatures did not really interact, and just continued to swim past each other in opposite directions.

The tour group said that the deer was not harmed during the encounter.

“Deer are skillful swimmers and often swim between islands in the area,” they explained in the comment section of their Facebook post.
