A multi-vehicle incident early this morning had closed the road.
Stretches are still covered in snow, however.
Drive BC added: "Drive to winter conditions in the area and expect delays due to congestion."
(Original story: Oct. 23 @ 7:16 am): The Coquihalla Highway is closed in both directions due to spun-out trucks on Larson Hill.
Drive BC is advising motorists to take an alternative route.
It said the “multi-vehicle incident” is between Exit 290 and Exit 183.
The agency will provide further updates throughout the morning.
It comes amid snow warnings for a series of highways across the Interior, including the Coquihalla.
Environment Canada has warned of between 15 and 20 centimetres of snow today.
"Total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 cm can be expected in Similkameen and on travellers routes including the Coquihalla Highway, Okanagan Connector and Highway 3 - Hope to Princeton,” the agency said.
“Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
Drive BC also issued an advisory for travel between Merritt and Kelowna and Merritt and Kamloops due to snow, but it has since been rescinded.
