2 people facing firearms charges after search at supportive housing facility

The Victoria Police executed a search warrant at a supportive housing facility last month that turned up several firearms and weapons.

A man and a woman were arrested on the afternoon of July 16, 2022 on Johnson Street.

During the search of the suite, officers located several firearms, including a shotgun with ammunition and two handguns with ammunition.

Officers also located several replica firearms, body armour and other weapons such as brass knuckles, a taser, a sword and batons.

The pair face several recommended firearms charges.
