Black Friday has arrived in Kelowna, and many stores across the city have launched some of their biggest deals of the year.
“We’re just here shopping and it happens to be Black Friday and we just got some really good deals,” said local shoppers.
With many people running to big box retailers at the mall, Mark Burley the Executive Director of Kelowna Downtown Association is asking people to shop local and support small businesses this year.
“We would sure hope that everybody comes down here this weekend instead of shopping online for supposed black Friday deals,” said Burley.
