How much do you know about high drive doggos? 🧠🤔 Beautiful #bordercollies are one of the many breeds which fall into this category. Having high drive isn't about having lots of energy and love to give hoomans, but has more to do with the need for cognitive stimulation through breed relative activities such as herding, retrieving or tracking. If you're experiencing out of character behaviour from your shepard, collie-mix or retriever (destroying the backyard, chewing toys, ripping their bed to shreds) this can be early indicators of building anxiety and the want for a more purposeful life. I'm so proud of how well this guy does on our hikes, he always amazes me. Yesterday we were hiking with a few big dogs, and the last bit of the hike was a long steep hill and little man Pacho powered up it and was up at the top waiting on a rock while us humans and big dogs were dying trying to make it up 😂 His little legs sure have a lot of power!
