Nicholas Cristiano is heading from the Central Okanagan to Vancouver Island.
The Kelowna Rockets dealt the goaltender to the Victoria Royals on Monday night in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2023 WHL draft.

The 18-year-old only played three games for the Rockets this season, with just one of them being a start, and posted a 0-1-0-0 record with a 2.61 GAA and .879 save percentage.
He was reassigned to the West Kelowna Warriors in mid-October and he has made three starts for the BCHL club since, posting a 1-2-0-0 record with a 4.42 GAA and .867 save percentage.
The Langley product played minor hockey in the Fraser Valley before joining the Rockets during the 2020-21 hub season.
However, he returned to the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds BCEHL U18 program last season.
Cristiano is expected to get an opportunity to play with the Royals and the club said he will be available for their next game against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Wednesday.
