Canadian NBA star denied request for religious vaccine exemption

The National Basketball Association was dealing with an interesting situation regarding a Canadian star on Saturday.

According to the league, Andrew Wiggins was denied a request to be exempt from getting the COVID-19 vaccines for religious purposes.

The request was denied by the San Francisco Department of Public Health, which requires everyone over the age of 12 to be vaccinated for indoor events.

Wiggins will not be able to play in Golden State Warriors' home games until he fulfills the city's vaccination requirements.
