The 2024 Stanely Cup Final is underway after the Florida Panthers opened the series with a 3-0 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
The Oilers put 32 shots on net, but Sergei Bobrovsky was a brick wall as he became the first goalie since Roberto Luongo in 2011 to record a shutout in game one of a final.

The Oilers continued to outshoot the Panthers throughout the match, but could not find the back of the net.
With the clock winding down, Eetu Luostarinen scored on the empty net to solidify the win for Florida.
The Panthers have the series lead in a Stanley Cup Final for the first time after previously losing their two prior visits in a sweep and five games.
Game two is Monday at 5 pm.
Meet the challenge.
