The Kelowna Rockets were back in action tonight, this time taking on the top-ranked team in the CHL in the Prince Alberta Raiders at Prospera Place.
It was a tight battle throughout as Kelowna gave Prince Albert everything they could handle. After 65 minutes, the two teams were tied and needed a shootout to decide the game. Nolan Foote scored the only goal of the shootout to help the Rockets to a 4-3 win.
In the first period, Prince Albert's goaltender Ian Scott did not come to play as he was scored on twice in five shots. Kyle Topping's 17th and Nolan Foote's 22nd of the season were good enough to give the Rockets a 2-1 lead after one period.

The second was an evenly matched game, but Prince Albert was the only team to draw blood. Dante Hannoun got his 22nd of the year to tie the game up at 2-2 going into the third.
In the third, the Raiders kept on rolling as Parker Kelly scored his 22nd of the season. When it looked like the Rockets were going to go home empty-handed, Lassi Thomson scored a game-tying goal with just five minutes left.
