Permits for a multi-family building at The Dunes Golf Course will be reviewed by Kamloops City Council this week.
On Tuesday, city council will be deciding on issuing development permits for a 48-unit, four-storey, multi-family strata development at 652 Dunes Drive.
According to the staff report, the building is located on the southeast corner of the province, which contains the golf course’s clubhouse.
“The area being developed is a vacant, sloped, gravelled area adjacent to the existing parking lot and the cul-de-sac bulb of Dunes Drive,” the report says.
There would be eight studio units, 36 one bedrooms and four two-bedrooms.
Staff say the building would have 56 parking stalls.
An existing 39-unit multi-family development is located immediately west of this building.
Should council agree to issue the development permits, the registration would be withheld until the developer pays $54,500 for a landscape security.
